Along with the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar, the sculpted statues of the star couple Rajkumar and Parvathamma will also be kept in the glass house for the public to have a glance. The authorities are expecting this time a turnover of 15 lacs. The flower show will go on for 11 days from August 5 till August 15. Beautifully sculpted statues of the late actors adorned the glass house. The show, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, reportedly collected Rs 2.94 lakhs and saw 4,226 footfalls on Day 1.
Puneeth Rajkumar passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46 after suffering a heart attack in October last year. Officials are therefore erecting statues of the late actor and his father Rajkumar at the show, to pay tribute.
Shivarajkumar and his wife Geetha, Raghavendra Rajkumar along with his wife and Puneeth’s wife Ashwini visited the Flower Show as a family to pay a visit and see the sculpted statues of Puneeth and Rajkumar couple.
Raghavendra Rajkumar took to his Twitter account to share his happiness of visiting the Flower Show. Take a look at the Tweet:
