Chandran Narikode’s State Bus to release in September

Vijilesh-starrer State Bus, directed by Chandran Narikode, will hit theatres on September 23. The film, co-starring Santosh Keezhatoor, is produced by Aiby Raveendran and Padmakumar under the banner of Studio C Cinemas.
State Bus is the second film directed by Chandran Narikode after Paathi, which starred Indrans.
As per the makers, State Bus is a travel movie that discusses social politics through the conflicting realities of life. The film is touted as a family-oriented thriller with suspense and thrills while also addressing social issues in the backdrop of humour.
Chandran Narikode shares that State Bus chronicles the events that unfold when two policemen accompany a suspect from Kannur Central Jail in a KSRTC bus.
Veteran Mohan Sithara wrote the background score, while Vidyadharan master composed the music.
Prasoon Prabhakar handled the camera, and Deejo P Varghese worked on the editing.
